Visitors to the Red Canyon Campground at the Cibola National Forest in New Mexico are now learning more about riparian habitat, threatened and endangered species, and ecosystem management principals, thanks to interpretive signs provided by Wildlife Forever. The project area is located near the village of Manzano, about 70 miles south of Albuquerque. About eight-five percent of the visitors to the Red Canyon Campground are from Albuquerque, with another ten percent visiting from other communities, and another five percent from local school groups.
