Wildlife Forever helped secure 450,000 acres of habitat for elk, mule deer, moose, bighorn sheep and fisheries in Utah. Known as the Books Cliff Initiative, the project resulted in the purchase of privately owned ranches in the area to protect critical habitat for wildlife, restore degraded trout streams, and provide public access and recreation opportunities. Wildlife Forever partnered with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, North American Hunting Club, Bureau of Land Management, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, and The Nature Conservancy to make this conservation dream a reality.
