  Joe Colby has been named Wildlife Forever's 2016 State-Fish Art Educator of the Year.   A 5th and 6th grade elementary teacher for 18 years, at Condon Elementary in Condon, Oregon, Mr. Colby is being recognized for his significant contribution to youth conservation education.

Wildlife Forever Helps Counties Fight AIS

 New state legislation will direct $10 million to battle aquatic invasive species (AIS) empowering Minnesota counties to promote the national Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers! (SAH!) campaign. Through a coalition of over 2,000 partners nationally, Wildlife Forever is leading the outreach efforts to educate boaters and anglers to Clean, Drain, Dry. For nearly 10 years, surveys of recreational users show that the SAH! branded message works and can greatly assist counties in stopping the advance of invasive species.

Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers!® (SAH!) is pleased to announce "Quagga D" Davis as the June, Partner in Action. A resident of Nevada, D works tirelessly to educate State Agencies and Watershed Managers on how to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) across Western America by boat inspections and decontamination. D and her husband Michael, have been boaters on Lake Mead for over 25 years and have firsthand knowledge of how AIS can impact a community.
