Bear Donation

Bears are the stuff of legends . . . synonymous with the wilderness. Will our children and their children live in a world where North America's bear populations roam free?
With your help the answer is yes.

These biologists take measurements of a young black bear cub
while the new mother hibernates.

Bear biologists must use a helicopter to reach some of Alaska's
brown bears in order take measurements of a tranquized bear.

Today, bear-human confrontations play a dominant role in the bear's downfall. Bears require a large area in which to roam. As civilization continues to encroach into undeveloped areas, bears lose their habitat.  The loss of salmon runs in the Pacific Northwest draws grizzly bears and humans into potentially dangerous confrontations.

The bear cannot exist in today's world without our help. The science of wildlife management must prevail to assist these great bears.

Only you can help prevent the loss of America's great bears.

Any amount you can spare will be put right to work in helping bears across America. Every donor will receive a Wildlife Forever 2011 Bear Supporter decal. And for exceptionally generous donations, we have some really fun thank you gifts.

Crafted by famed wildlife artist George Harris, this polar bear lapel pin is yours to thank you for your bear support at the $25 level.
