The Wildlife Forever Board of Directors hereby declares ...

"From 2011 forward, the
STATE-FISH ART CONTEST BEST OF SHOW AWARD
will be given in recognition of Seth Thomas Spradlin's
extraordinary talent and conservation ethic."

In late August 2010, during his second summer earning funds for college as a seasonal employee for the National Park Service in Alaska, Seth and his brother Neal lost their lives in a bush plane accident in remote Katmai National Park.

In 2008, Seth Thomas Spradlin won both the national Best of Show and The Art of Conservation Stamp Award with his remarkable largemouth bass.

This special award will be given annually to one artist as the national overall winner chosen from all winning entries.
