Jazz up your email and help promote fish and wildlife conservation with a Wildlife Forever email signature logo.

Its free and it is easy to do with the step by step instructions below. And when you are finished, everytime you send or respond to an email, you'll be telling your reader than you are working to conserve America's fish and wildlife.

If you use Outlook 2003, simply follow the instructions below (You may want to print out this page). Directions for earllier or later versions of Outlook will be similar. If you use a different email program, you can still include a Wildlife Forever email signature logo in your emails. Please refer to your program's help menu for instructions.

STEP 1: Right click on the appropriate email signature logo below and then save a copy to your computer by selecting "Save file as . . .". these are tiny files of just 6 kb.

STEP 2: Open Outlook. Under the TOOLS menu, select OPTIONS. Then select MAIL FORMAT. In the top section, be sure to set your email composition to HTML and check the box to use Word to edit emails. Then, click on the SIGNATURES button near the bottom right.

STEP 3: Click the NEW button to create a new signature. Title your signature WF Membership and choose "START WITH A BLANK SIGNATURE". Click the next button.

STEP 4: Click the ADVANCED EDIT button. In the window that appears, click YES to continue. This will take you to a Word document where you will design your signature. The Word document will have the same name as the one you gave the signature . . . WF Membership.

STEP 5: Under the INSERT menu, select PICTURE and then FROM FILE . . . which will open a window where you select the email signature logo file you copied from our web site in Step 1. Hit ENTER to move to another line and type in the Wildlife Forever web site address: www.wildlifeforever.org. Type in any other other information you would like at the end of your emails, such as your name, just as you would in any Word document. When finished, click SAVE and close the Word document.

STEP 6: Your new signature should appear in the preview window just as you created it in the Word document. Click OK to return to the main Options window. In the Signatures area at the bottom of the window, you specify the signature you want to use in your emails with the two drop down menues. There is one for new email and one for replies to email. Select the WF Membership signature. Click APPLY. Click OK and close the Options window.

STEP 7: Try out your new signature by sending an email.
